ABOUT ME
I’m Samuel Peek, a 22-year-old architecture student at the University of Johannesburg. Taking art in high school opened my eyes to the world of design and eventually led me to architecture. As I’ve grown as a designer and found my own style, I’ve come to see architecture as one of the greatest forms of design and, in many ways, art.
What fascinates me most is how everything connects. I’m drawn to contrast and how things that seem completely opposite can come together and work. For me, architecture is also a way of telling a story, whether through a building, an image, a drawing or a material.
Working as a drafting intern has helped me understand the technical side of turning an idea into something real. This portfolio brings those sides of me together and shows how I think, communicate and continue to develop my own way of designing.
